Constant Speed Prop Trainer
This app collects no data about you and makes no network connections of its own. The only thing it keeps is your place in the lessons, on your device.
What this app stores
Constant Speed collects no data. It has no account, no analytics and no advertising, and it makes no network connections. The only thing it stores is which lessons you have finished, and whether you met or skipped each lesson's Try it, kept on your device so the Learn tab can show your place. Nothing leaves your device. Reset progress at the bottom of the Learn tab clears it, and deleting the app removes it.
Where you left the levers lasts only as long as the app is open; close it and it starts again at cruise. There are no scores, no settings and no identifier.
If a later version starts keeping anything else, this page will say exactly what before that version ships.
What this app does not do
- No account, sign-in, or email address
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising
- No third-party SDKs of any kind
- No network requests — the propeller, the governor and the gauges are a model run on your device, and the app works fully in airplane mode
- No location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or health access — the app has no permission prompt at all
- No purchases or subscriptions
Links out of the app
The app's About screen has two links, Privacy policy and Support, and both open this page. Tapping one hands the link to your browser. The app itself sends nothing with it: no identifier and nothing about you travels with the link.
More from AutoPilot, on the Reference tab, opens a screen inside the app that lists the other AutoPilot apps, repeats the Privacy policy and Support links, and links to flywithautopilot.com in your browser. Tapping one of the other apps opens its App Store page inside Constant Speed, or in the App Store app if the page cannot load there. That page is Apple's: the App Store loads it, and Constant Speed is not told what you do there. These App Store links can carry a campaign label that names the kind of link, never you, and nothing about you travels with it.
Support
Questions, bugs, or something you think the app has wrong: admin@flywithautopilot.com. Say which part of the picture or which lever, along with your device and iOS version.
Constant Speed Prop Trainer is ground study for the constant-speed propeller and its governor. Its numbers are illustrative, not any airplane's, and it is not for use in flight: the airplane's flight manual and your flight instructor come first.
